Browntooth is a newer hardcore band out of the Steger suburb of Chicago. Focused on the town they grew up in, "K&S Demos Kids of Steger Old Town" is a nostalgic album about growing up in a tough neighborhood while also realizing the good things about it. The wild ride this album takes you on goes from fast and heavy hardcore punk at times to almost relaxing, hip hop styled beats that keep your head bobbing. Sprinkle in a few shreddy guitar solos and a ton of self recorded samples and you have an “In your face and in your feels” album that scratches so many itches.
