My Back Hurts Records is a small passion label label with a focus on helping smaller bands get their music on short runs of physical media. After years of playing in local bands and working for a live music venue, not to mention a life-long love for abrasive music, we feel the need to help smaller artists preserve their art. Especially in an industry dominated by greedy digital streaming services that can delete your work with the click of a button and corporate labels that just want to make a quick buck off of your hard work (Look at all the bands fighting legal battles against big labels to get the rights to their own music back).
Records, cassettes, and CD's used to be a staple in getting your music out into the world. Grabbing merch items directly from a band at a show and the small conversations of gratitude from both parties is something we cherish and hope to keep alive. While every situation will be different, Our goal at MBHR is to help fund your release and get it out there as you, the artists, envision it.
