From the opening chaos of “01_POSITIONS_JE”, the band throws us into a fractured world where personal struggles keep us dejected and questioning the aspects of life. Each song is a different embodiment of the self (JE, LUI, ELLE, EUX), drawing on themes of gender, body, labor, and territory. There’s a carefully constructed violence in the way the band moves, from the explosive crescendos of “05_PRAXIS_LUl” to the guttural depths of “08_FRACTURES_EUX”.

Sonically, the album draws from the raw nerve of 2000s screamo while channeling the suffocating atmosphere of black metal. Yet there’s poetry in the rubble, glimmers of melody, haunting samples, and moments of stillness that make the aggression even more poignant.
